Conditions of Entry at Nambour Aquatic Centre

To ensure a pleasant and secure environment for all our members and guests, please take a moment to review our venue conditions of entry.

Our Venue

  1. The Nambour Aquatic Centre is a (NAC) is a non-smoking venue.
  2. Please observe pool rules at all times and follow any reasonable instruction given by NAC staff.
  3. Any patrons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the centre.
  4. Anyone attempting to gain entry without paying or without authorisation will be prosecuted. No pass outs will be issued.
  5. Patrons are not permitted to bring glass objects or alcohol into the centre, patrons’ bags may be searched.
  6. Inappropriate, foul language and aggressive behavior are not permitted. Offenders will be removed from the centre.
  7. NAC caters for all food and beverage requirements. Commercial fast foos are not permitted.
  8. No pets or animals are permitted in the centre with the exception of Assistance dogs.
  9. NAC staff are only permitted to conduct learn to swim, private swimming lessons and squad coaching sessions unless a private group partnership is approved by Managament.
  10. Cameras and mobile phones are not to be used for photos or videos unless authorised by Centre Management.
  11. Children over the age of 5 are required to use sex appropriate change rooms or family change room.
  12. Banned items are not permitted on premises. This includes but not limited to scooters, skateboards, footballs & soccer balls, mermaid tails, baby neck rings and inflatable toys.
  13. Running, pushing, flips and bombing is not permitted.
  14. Please respect the rights of others and our staff.
  15. Facility operators reserve the right to refuse entry for any reason.
  16. Medical Conditions: If you have any disease, illness, injury, or medical condition, it is recommended you speak with your GP or staff prior to using our facilities.
  17. Waiver and Release of Liability: Please acknowledge that when you are on the premises, both your property and person shall be at your own risk and shall not hold the centre or its employees liable for any personal injury or loss of property which may arise from any cause.
  18. Management reserves the right to refuse entry. Refusal to comply with these conditions of entry may result in removal from the centre.

Aquatic Areas

  1. Lifeguards supervise our aquatic areas, however active parental supervision must be followed.
  2. In an emergency please follow lifeguard instructions.
  3. Children aged 5 years and under need to be supervised within arms reach from in the pools at all times.
  4. Children aged 6 to 14 years need to be actively supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  5. A maximum of 2 children under 5 years old or 4 children under 10 years old can be supervised by each parent/guardian over the age of 16 years.
  6. Suitable swimwear must be worn. Articles of clothing such as street-wear, underwear, denim, bike pants and casual wear are strictly prohibited in the water.
    Only recognised waterproof aqua-nappies are to be worn in the water for infants.
  7. Glass objects or alcohol are not permitted.
  8. Please adhere to the safety signage around the pool area.
  9. Cameras and mobile phones are not to be used for photos or videos unless authorised by Centre Management.
